What County Control is

County Control is a free Discord bot for ER:LC communities: moderation, session start-ups, priority requests, dispatch, tickets, staff management, and shift and time tracking. It is built and run by Phase & Cipher.

Using it

By adding County Control to a server, or by using it in one, you agree to what is on this page.

• Do not use it to harass people or to break Discord's Terms of Service, Roblox's Terms of Use, or the law in your country.
• Do not try to overload, scrape or reverse the bot or the account-linking page.
• Do not link a Roblox account that is not yours, and do not use the bot's records to collect information about people for a purpose unrelated to running your community.

Your responsibility as a server owner

County Control is a tool. The decisions are yours. You decide the rules, who can use the commands, what gets logged and where, and who counts as staff, and you are responsible for those choices and for telling your members what you log.

You choose whether to provide an ER:LC server-key. If you do, you are allowing the bot to read that server's data and run the commands your staff request. Keep the key private, and regenerate it in-game if you think it has leaked.

If you use staff applications, applicants' answers are screened by a third-party AI provider, with no user or server details attached, as the Privacy Policy sets out. If that matters to your applicants, tell them.

Roblox and ER:LC

County Control is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation or Police Roleplay Community. Emergency Response: Liberty County is their game, and its API and names belong to them. If the ER:LC API changes or is unavailable, parts of County Control may stop working until we can adapt.

Availability

We keep County Control up because we want it up, not because we have promised you a percentage. There is no uptime guarantee, no service level agreement and no compensation for downtime. It is a free bot. We may restart, change, limit or remove features, including at short notice.

Removing it, and us removing it

You can remove County Control from your server at any time. Ask us and we will delete your server's data. We may remove it from a server, or block a user or a server from using it, if it is being used for anything on the list above. We do not have to warn you first, though usually we will.

Liability

County Control is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Automatic shift tracking and screening make mistakes, and you should not rely on either as your only safeguard or your only record. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, damage or disruption arising from using it, from an action it took, or from not being able to use it. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed by an agreement.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did. Carrying on using County Control after a change means the new version applies.
